America, Turning It's Back On God?

Could the Civil War have been a wake-up call for America that we didn't head. Abraham Lincoln spoke of the calamity that devastated the nation as "the judgement of a righteous God...not on any one individual but on a nation as a whole."

There were a lot of lives lost, not from the judgement, but from the calamity; both the righteous and the un-righteous died. The same as what happened on 9/11. The calamity that took place was both on a private and a national realm. Many lives were lost as we well remember.

The national calamity of 9/11, I do not believe, was a wake up call, but the beginning of judgement on America for turning our backs on God.

The question most asked after was, "Where was God?" it seemed that many were surprised at what was happening. God was here; He has always been here! it is we who have left. We have drove God out of our schools, out of our government, out of our media, and out of our public square. We drove Him out of our national life and we have the audacity to ask, "Where is God?"

It seemed after 9/11 that there was a little serge back to God, but it didn't last. There was an attempt to return to some form of normalcy, but we never turned back to God.

I firmly believe that this year could see the "rapture of the Church." And we could also see the down fall of America becoming a third world nation. The work of our undoing is already in progress.

God will not be mocked!
